Part-Time Certified Flight Instructor (CFI / CFII Preferred)

Country Skies Aviation, LLC – Sky Acres Airport (44N) – Lagrangeville, NY

Country Skies Aviation is a new and growing owner-operated flight training and aircraft rental operation at Sky Acres Airport, currently building momentum and expanding our instructional offerings. We are seeking a motivated and professional part-time Certified Flight Instructor to help shape our training culture from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity for an instructor who is passionate about teaching, safety-focused, and excited to grow with an emerging aviation business.

Position Details

  • Part-time / flexible scheduling

Primary Instruction Focus

  • Private Pilot training
  • Instrument training
  • Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC)
  • Flight Reviews and recurrent training
  • Commercial pilot training opportunities
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training opportunities

Qualifications

Required:

  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • Current FAA medical (if applicable)
  • Current flight review and legal to instruct
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong emphasis on safety and student success

Preferred:

  • CFII
  • Prior instructional experience
  • Availability for evenings and/or weekends

Compensation
